5 Fun Secrets of Disney World's Hollywood Studios

1.  You'll walk right past this one if you're not careful!  It's located to the left of the entrance to ‘Indiana Jones' Epic Stunt Spectacular' and most people don't notice it.  Look for the sign that reads "Don't Pull The Rope." (The rope in question hangs down into a well.)

Notice that "Don't" is crossed out.   Now pull the rope. Listen closely.  Sometimes there's silence. If so – pull again. You'll hear digging or cries for help!

2.  Remember that famous scene from “Dancing in the Rain” where Gene Kelly dances with his umbrella under the lamppost?  Well – you can fake a copy of that famous photo if you find the lamppost with the umbrella attached.  (We last saw it near "Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show.")

Grab the umbrella and it will start raining!

3.  Frank Thomas and Ollie Johnson were two of Disney's original animators. They were also great friends.

They helped to bring the warm, human qualities to the Disney characters we know and love. (Before them, animated characters rarely touched except to punch or hit each other.)

They both received Disney's Highest Award - "Disney Legends."  You'll find their handprints in the cement tiles at the center of the Animation Courtyard.

4. Inside the entrance to Muppet Vision 3D, on the right, there's an office. A note on the door says, "I hid the key under the mat." Turn over the mat and you'll find the key.

5. In ‘The Great Movie Ride', there's a tableau of the airport scene from “Casablanca” starring Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman.  The plane in the scene is half of a real plane. The other half can be seen on the 'Jungle Cruise' ride in the Magic Kingdom.
